Custom Stair Safety Partition – A Modern Alternative to Traditional Railing

The homeowners wanted to make their open staircase safer for their young children. Rather than installing a traditional railing, we designed and built a custom vertical-slat partition that provides the needed safety while keeping the space feeling open and light.
The new partition follows the existing staircase and extends to the ceiling, creating a clean architectural feature without visually closing off the room. It was finished in white to blend seamlessly with the existing interior and give the space a more modern, updated look.
