We worked on this beautiful lake house on a charming island for almost two months. We made many carpentry repairs and replaced rotten wood with synthetic.
The paint on the cedar shakes was seriously peeling, so we had to remove it. Then, we primed the entire house (shakes and trim) with an oil-based exterior primer. We used two coats of Sherwin-Williams "Woodscapes" for the shingles and two coats of Sherwin-Williams "Emerald" for the trim. We also refinished natural, stained doors and a fence.
Even though we matched the color so that the "Before" and "After" pictures look similar, you can see a significant difference.
