How will furniture be handled—will the contractor move and protect indoor furniture?
For exterior projects, how will deck and patio furniture be managed?
9. Rotten Wood & Repairs
What happens if rotten wood is discovered during the project?
Will the contractor replace or repair the wood, or does the homeowner need to hire another carpenter?
Is wood repair included in the estimate or charged separately?
10. Worker Facilities & On-Site Needs
Will the contractor provide a portable toilet for workers?
If not, how will access to household facilities be handled?
11. Payment & Warranty
What is the payment schedule?
What methods of payment are accepted?
Is a deposit required?
